Wagbar Is Coming to 925 East Street
Wagbar Frederick will be located at 925 East Street in Frederick, Maryland, inside a former bank building that is being transformed into the full Wagbar experience.
The property is being adapted to include a secure off-leash play area, a welcoming bar and social environment, shaded gathering spaces, outdoor heaters, and the amenities dogs and their people need to enjoy Wagbar throughout the seasons.
Additional details about the design will be shared as the project progresses.
Wagbar Frederick is currently in development. Opening information, construction updates, local events, and founding-membership opportunities will be announced along the way.
What to Expect at Wagbar Frederick
Wagbar is more than a dog-friendly patio. It’s an experience designed for dogs and their people.

Entry and Safety Requirements
A safe, enjoyable environment for dogs and people is central to Wagbar.
Dogs must be at least six months old, be spayed or neutered, remain current on Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper/DHPP vaccinations, and meet Wagbar’s behavioral and entry requirements.
Complete registration instructions and Frederick-specific guest policies will be announced before opening.
Memberships and Day Passes
Whether Wagbar becomes part of your dog’s regular routine or an occasional destination, Wagbar Frederick plans to offer membership and day-pass options.
Memberships and passes are purchased for dogs. Human guests enter free and are welcome with or without a dog.
Local pricing, membership details, and founding-member opportunities will be announced closer to opening.
Meet the Frederick Team
Wagbar Frederick is being brought to life by Kimberly, Michael, and their Thai Ridgeback, Wilhelmina Rose—better known as Willie.
Kimberly is passionate about creating a fun, social destination where dogs can play and their people can relax, connect, and build community.
Michael will serve as Wagbar Frederick’s Chief of Fun, helping make every visit memorable.
Willie will serve as Head of Security and Welcoming Committee, representing the playful, dog-first spirit at the heart of Wagbar Frederick.
Together, they look forward to making Wagbar a go-to gathering place for Frederick’s dogs and dog lovers.
