A. At Wagbar, we aim to provide a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable experience for all our guests. To help us achieve this, we ask everyone to adhere to the following Dog Park Code of Conduct:

If your dog is not playing nicely, you must physically intervene.
Maintain control over your dog.
Clean up after your dog.
Please refrain from bringing toys, treats, or feeding the dogs in the park.
Be kind, respectful, and be a good human.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in you being asked to leave. Our trained staff enforces these guidelines to ensure a safe, peaceful, and fun environment for everyone. Your cooperation is much appreciated!
Q. how do you ensure the safety of the dogs?
A. At Wagbar, the safety of our canine guests is our top priority. We have several measures in place to contribute to their well-being:
Our off-leash dog park is fully fenced and supervised by trained staff at all times.
Dogs are required to be up-to-date with vaccinations, and should be at least 6 months old and spayed or neutered.
We enforce a strict code of conduct for all guests to maintain a safe, peaceful environment.
Our staff is trained to intervene if a dog is not playing nicely or if any issues arise.
However, while we strive to maintain a safe environment, we cannot ensure the safety of each individual dog. Dog owners are ultimately responsible for their pet's behavior and safety. Owners should monitor their dogs at all times and intervene if their dog is not playing nicely. These actions from our guests greatly contribute to a safe, enjoyable environment for everyone.
Q. Are there any restrictions on the type or size of dogs allowed in the park?
A. No, at Wagbar, we welcome all breeds and sizes of dogs. We believe every dog deserves to enjoy our off-leash park and social bar atmosphere. However, it's important to note that all dogs should be well-behaved, under their owner's control, and up-to-date with vaccinations.
Q. Does my dog need a membership to attend?
A. No, your dog does not need a membership to enjoy Wagbar. While we offer several membership options for convenience and savings, including daily, monthly, annual, and 10-visit punch pass, you can also opt for a quick day pass for your dog. However, please note that proof of vaccinations is required on each visit with a quick day pass.
Membership to Wagbar is for dogs only, and humans will not be charged for bar or dog park entry. By choosing a membership, you will not have to show vaccines each time after the first visit, and you will also save money in the long run. You can sign up for a membership on the specific location's page under the Locations tab.
Q. How Does wagbar handle AGGRESSIVE dogs and humans?
A. Absolutely, safety is our utmost priority at Wagbar. We have a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive behavior from both dogs and humans. If you witness or experience aggressive behavior at any point during your visit, please report it immediately to our staff. We take all reports seriously and will address the situation promptly.
It's important to note that we only accept dogs as members that have no history of aggressive behavior as reported by their owners. If a dog exhibits extreme or repeated aggressive behavior, they will be asked to leave and their membership may be revoked. This policy is crucial in maintaining a safe, peaceful environment for all our guests.
Q. why does it cost for my dog to enter?
A. Wagbar charges an entry fee for dogs in order to maintain the high-quality services and amenities we offer. The fees contribute towards the upkeep of our park, the various amenities we provide, and the salaries of our trained staff who monitor and screen dogs entering the park. This ensures that we can continue to provide a unique, interactive, and safe environment for you and your dogs. By enforcing park rules and ensuring only suitable dogs enter the park, we aim to provide the best possible experience for all our guests.

Wagbar's operating hours can vary by location and season, but we strive to be open 7 days a week, all year round, except for some holidays and maintenance days. A. As a Wagbar franchisee, you'll be backed by a supportive and experienced team every step of the way. We provide assistance in various areas to ensure your franchise's success. This includes help with site selection and design, comprehensive training on our business model and operations, marketing support to build brand awareness in your local area, ongoing operational support, and regular updates on best practices. Our goal is to ensure that each franchisee has the resources and guidance they need to successfully run their Wagbar franchise.
Q. Can I bring my puppy to Wagbar?
A. Puppies are welcome once they meet our entry requirements. Dogs must be at least 6 months old, spayed or neutered, and up to date on Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccinations. This age and health threshold helps protect young pups while making sure all dogs in the park are ready for off-leash play. If your puppy isn't quite there yet, that's the perfect window to focus on early socialization at home and in low-key settings.
Q. Are children allowed at Wagbar?
A. No, all guests at Wagbar must be 18 years or older. Our space is designed as an adult social environment with off-leash dogs, alcohol, and an atmosphere that works best without children present. This rule also keeps the experience safer for everyone, since active dogs and small children in the same off-leash space can be a tough mix.
Q. What should I bring with me to Wagbar?
A. The short list: your dog, proof of vaccinations, a valid ID, and a leash for entering and exiting the park. You don't need to bring toys, treats, or food for your dog, since we ask guests not to use those inside the park. Water and waste stations are provided, so you can travel light and just enjoy the visit.
Q. How is Wagbar different from a regular dog park?
A. Wagbar combines an off-leash dog park with a real social bar, supervised by trained staff and protected by vaccination and entry requirements. Traditional dog parks are usually free and unsupervised, with no health checks at the gate. Wagbar adds membership-based safety screening, a fenced space, and a bar atmosphere where humans can relax while their dogs play. It's built around the connection between dogs and the people who love them.
Q. What happens if dogs get into a scuffle at Wagbar?
A. Our trained staff watch the park closely and step in quickly if play gets too rough or a dog shows warning signs. Owners are expected to intervene with their own dogs too. If a dog has repeated issues, their membership can be revoked. We take this seriously because a calm, well-managed park is what makes the Wagbar experience work for everyone.
Q. Can I bring more than one dog?
A. Yes, you can bring more than one dog, as long as each dog meets our entry requirements and you can supervise them all at once. Many Wagbar guests come in with two or three dogs from the same household. Just keep in mind that you're responsible for every dog you bring in, so only bring as many as you can reasonably manage in an off-leash setting.
Q. Are there breed restrictions at Wagbar?
A. No, Wagbar welcomes all breeds and sizes. What matters to us is behavior, not breed. Every dog needs to be friendly, well-controlled by their owner, current on vaccinations, and free from a history of aggression. We've had everything from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes enjoy the park together.
Q. Is my dog ready for an off-leash dog bar?
A. A good test is whether your dog plays well with other dogs, comes when called, and stays relaxed in new environments. Our off-leash readiness checklist walks through what to look for. If your dog gets nervous around new dogs or has trouble with recall, it's worth working on those skills first, then easing into Wagbar during quieter hours.
Q. How much does it cost to open a Wagbar franchise?
A. The initial franchise fee is $50,000, with a total estimated initial investment between $470,300 and $1,145,900 depending on your location and buildout. The royalty fee is 6% of adjusted gross sales, plus 1% to the marketing fund. Full details, including verified financial performance figures, are available in our Franchise Disclosure Document.
Q. What cities is Wagbar expanding into?
A. We're actively growing across the country with new locations in development in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, California, Ohio, Maryland, Florida, and Arizona. If your city isn't on the list yet, that may just mean we haven't found the right franchise partner there. Visit our franchising page if you'd like to bring Wagbar to your community.
Q. Does Wagbar host adoption events?
A. Yes, many Wagbar locations partner with local rescues to host dog adoption events. These are a great way to meet adoptable dogs in a relaxed, social setting and support the rescue community. Check your local Wagbar's social media or events page for the schedule, since lineups change by location and season.
Q. Why is the off-leash dog park concept growing so quickly?
A. Dog ownership has climbed steadily, and people increasingly want to include their dogs in everyday social life. Wagbar fits into a broader pet industry shift toward experience-based businesses that bring people and pets together, instead of the traditional grooming, boarding, or retail model. Off-leash dog bars meet that demand in a way few other concepts do.
