Coming in October: Wagbar Knoxville

Hey Knoxville, a New Way to Hang out is on the Way

Wagbar is taking over the former Creekside Knoxville space and bringing our unique mix of off-leash dog park and bar to your city. It’s where dogs can play, humans can relax, and everyone can enjoy a vibrant social scene.

This park will be led by a dynamic mother–daughter duo with deep roots in animal rescue and a shared passion for dogs. After moving to East Tennessee three years ago, they fell in love with the mountains and Knoxville’s welcoming community—making it the perfect place to bring Wagbar, the city’s premier off-leash dog park bar.

With a background in finance, sales, and years of community leadership supporting animal shelters and rescues, Liz brings both the business know-how and heart. Shelby is an animal lover and not only grew up rescuing animals and volunteering in shelters, but is now pursuing her Animal Behavior certification. Inspired by their own pups—American Bullies Sushi & Moose and Shih Tzu Buddy—they dream of creating a safe, fun space where dogs can play, socialize, and thrive while their people relax and connect.

Together, they’re excited to welcome Knoxville’s dogs (and their humans!) to Wagbar, where every visit is about community, connection, and lots of wagging tails.

What is Wagbar?

Wagbar, the original off-leash dog park and bar founded in Asheville, North Carolina, is thrilled to announce its expansion to Knoxville. It’s a proven concept where dogs run free and people enjoy drinks together, now coming to the former Creekside Knox location.

Why You’ll Love Wagbar

Wagbar isn’t just another bar, and it’s not just a dog park—it’s an experience built for Knoxville.
Picture this:

  • Live music setting the vibe on a Saturday night.
