Sunday Smooches at Wagbar

Some of our favorite moments at Wagbar happen right around golden hour, when the sun is low, the park has that warm evening glow, and the dogs are still going strong after a full day of play.

That's exactly what this Sunday looked like, with Finch sharing a sweet nose to nose moment with a new friend. One a big, sturdy mastiff mix, the other a lean pittie, both clearly comfortable enough with each other to steal a smooch or two in the middle of the park.

This is the kind of interaction we love seeing. Different breeds, different sizes, all sharing the same off-leash space and figuring out their own version of friendship. Pitbulls and mastiffs get a bad reputation in a lot of places, but at Wagbar, they're just dogs being dogs, sniffing, playing, and yes, smooching, right alongside everyone else.

If your dog has a soft spot for making new friends, or if you just want to catch a few Sunday golden hour moments of your own, come on by. You never know who might steal a kiss.
